Terms of Service

Welcome to the Mizushyne Archive.

These Terms of Service govern the use of this website and the purchase of products offered through it. By accessing the site or placing an order, you agree to these terms.

By using this website, you confirm that you are legally able to enter into binding agreements under the laws of your jurisdiction.

1. The Archive & the Physical Singularity

All prints are produced as high-quality giclee art prints on premium archival paper. We do not sell open editions.

Each artwork is acquired and printed exactly once. The choice of size is final; once purchased, the specific artwork is permanently retired from the Archive and will never be produced as a physical fine art print again in any size or format.

2. Print Specifications & Display Discrepancies

All physical artworks are printed borderless (edge-to-edge) unless otherwise stated.

Please note that backlit digital screens and physical pigment ink process light and color differently. Colors may vary slightly depending on screen settings and printing processes.

Product descriptions and images are provided for reference and presentation purposes.

By acquiring an artwork, you acknowledge that slight variations in color, contrast, and texture between the digital representation and the physical artifact are natural and do not constitute a defect.

3. The Canvas Hash & Collector's Note

During the acquisition process, collectors submit a "Collector's Note." This text is mathematically processed into a unique 12-character cryptographic string known as the "Canvas Hash."

By completing the purchase, you acknowledge and agree that this Canvas Hash will be permanently printed onto the physical artwork. It will be placed unobtrusively in the bottom right corner of the print to serve as its definitive, verifiable serial mark.

4. Digital Provenance & the Public Ledger

To verify the 1-of-1 authenticity of your physical acquisition, a digital provenance record (NFT) is minted on a public blockchain.

By submitting a Collector's Note, you explicitly consent to this text, along with the generated Canvas Hash and relevant artwork metadata, being permanently and irreversibly published on a public, decentralized ledger.

The official digital provenance token is initially held in the Mizushyne Archive's secure vault and can be transferred to your personal Web3 wallet upon request as a complimentary service.

5. Intellectual Property & License

All artworks, images, and content on this website remain the intellectual property of the artist.

Purchasing a print does not grant the right to reproduce, distribute, or commercially use the artwork. Unauthorized reproduction or use of the artwork is prohibited.

Grant of License: The collector is granted a non-exclusive, personal-use license to display the physical artwork.

The Singularity Guarantee: The Artist retains the copyright for digital, promotional, and editorial use, but contractually guarantees never to reproduce the acquired image as another physical fine art print.

6. Orders, Prices, & Shipping

When you place an order, you agree to purchase the selected product at the listed price. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders at our discretion.

All prices are displayed in the currency shown on the website. Prices may change at any time without notice, but confirmed orders will not be affected.

Shipping costs and applicable taxes are included or displayed during checkout where applicable.

Shipping times may vary depending on location, customs processing, and shipping carriers.

The buyer is responsible for any import duties, customs fees, or local taxes that may apply in their country.

7. Returns & the Physical Singularity (Bespoke Artifacts)

Every artwork acquired from the Mizushyne Archive is a bespoke, 1-of-1 artifact. The acquisition process initiates an irreversible, personalized creation cycle: the artwork is printed specifically to order, your custom Collector's Note is mathematically distilled, the resulting Canvas Hash is permanently printed onto the physical margin, and the piece's digital provenance is immutably sealed on the blockchain.

Because the physical artwork and its digital record are intrinsically and permanently bound to your personal input, the piece cannot be undone, restocked, or resold. Therefore, all sales are final. By placing an order, you acknowledge that you are acquiring a custom-made artifact and waive any standard right of withdrawal.

Due to the limited nature of the prints, returns are generally not accepted unless the item arrives damaged or defective. If a product arrives damaged, please contact us within 7 days of delivery and provide photographic documentation.

If the issue is confirmed, a replacement or refund may be offered. To maintain the strict integrity of the "Physical Singularity," a replacement will only be issued upon verified destruction or return of the damaged original. The replacement will carry the exact same Canvas Hash to ensure the digital provenance remains unbroken.

8. Limitation of Liability

The website and its contents are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

We are not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of this website or its products.

These Terms of Service may be updated periodically.
