The embrace is tender enough to hide its violence.
One figure leans into the other while armour, fabric and pale markings begin to blur the distinction between protection and enclosure. The partially obscured face gives the image its most unsettling detail: intimacy slowly erasing the person receiving it.
Love Me Until I Disappear asks how much of the self can be surrendered before devotion becomes disappearance.
